LIVE SESSION REPLAYS
The Autonomous Creative Conference: Kickoff Call notes and guide to making the most of the experience
I know virtual conferences can be overwhelming. It's tempting to either try cramming everything in—which leads to very little sticking with you—or to let it all slide by because it’s too much. Let’s find the sweet spot between those extremes.
First Things First: How This Works
Unlike typical virtual conferences where you're chained to your computer all day, I've designed this to be flexible while still maintaining the energy of a live event.
The Core Structure:
- Everything except Oliver Burkeman's interview is pre-recorded
- Pre-recorded sessions drop at 12:01am ET each day
- You get 48 hours to watch each day's content (this is why calendar events are all day, not tied to a time of day)
- The community stays open through May 19th
The Two Can't-Miss Live Events:
- Oliver Burkeman Interview - Tuesday, May 13 at 12pm ET
- Price Your Work for Profit Workshop - Friday, May 16 (This is our closing session and will pull together many threads from the week. Trust me, you want to be there!)
Your strategic approach (This is key!)
The difference between watching some interesting videos (and then having everything slide out of your head minutes later) and actually integrating what you learn into new understandings and new actions comes down to how intentionally you engage with this material.
Step 1: Get clear on what you’re here to learn
Pull out the Focus Finder worksheet I shared in the Kickoff (if you don't have it, grab it here). This is your compass for the entire conference.
How to Use the Focus Finder:
- Start with your intentions. What specifically do you need right now in your business? Take a few minutes to think, and then write it down.
- Look at your quiz results — do the recommended sessions align with those intentions?
- As you listen to sessions, think: does this intersect with my priorities, or is it just interesting context (for right now…it might be highly relevant some other time)
- Use the Top Three planning section of the worksheet to map out TOMORROW's priorities TODAY. Refer to the recording for full instructions on how. (min 18:30)
Here's why doing this ahead of time matters: When Tuesday morning hits, you'll already have urgent emails, client demands, and a dozen other things competing for your attention. If you wait until then to decide what to watch, you'll default to whatever feels easiest or most urgent—not what's most valuable.
Step 2: Engage Strategically
The community (at autonomouscreative.com/library) is where the real integration happens. After each session, share your key takeaway. It doesn't have to be profound; just the act of articulating what resonated helps cement the learning.

A Final Note
You don't need to watch every session this week. Really. What you need is to identify the sessions that will move the needle most for YOUR business right now, and give those your full attention.
Remember: Implementation beats consumption every time. I've built in multiple ways to help you actually use what you learn, from the workbook to the community discussions to the live integration sessions (for Implementation Kit members).
Speaking of the Implementation Kit if you're on the fence, today's the last day to get the fast-action pricing. But more importantly, it's your chance to get the support structure that will help turn these amazing insights into real change in your business.
Let's make this count!
